| The Codes |
The codes are short identifiers assigned to characters at birth. Codes generally follow the format of one letter and a number no more than four digits long. Examples include J7, A6, and B4115. They do not nessecarily have to be unique. They play a role similar to gender in modern society;
Codes are assigned at birth. The person bearing the code has the option to change it after their 13th birthday, but this is frowned upon in many cultures. Slowly, society is becoming more progressive about the changing of codes. Many goods are advertised to consumers based on their code, as well. You may see many billboards that read "F stands for Fashion," "Chairs only the finest A's will admire," and the like. The letters in codes are often assigned to different personalities, similar to zodiac signs. Many individuals prefer to display their codes openly, on readily available and customizable headbands, bandanas, wristbands and the like. Others are much more closed off about their code, and prefer not to be so loud about it. |

| Friendship City Transit |
The Friendship City Transit Authority (known as Friendship City Transit or FCT) is the main transit company serving the Friendship & Victory City regions.
It was formed in 1961, in preperation for the new metro lines that would open in the region, which started construction in 1958. Before FCT was formed, the construction was performed and paid for by the City of Friendship and the City of Victory. FCT serves Friendship City and Victory City, with the latter being served with a legacy metro system and a trolley. It also has a service to Redbird Grove in Amersoft County, where passengers can connect to a train (Line 10) bound for the bustling Arthur City. FCT operates various amounts of services. Its metro system roughly radiates out from the city center near the Eechooer River to outlying neighborhoods. Its trolley system runs rougly parallel to the Eechooer and connects communities in West Victory and Vision Lake to the northeast areas of Friendship City. Its extensive bus system serves and connects other communities. The legacy metro system was built before the main metro system in the 1910s. It has three lines and serves communities in Victory City. The profile for this system is tighter than in the main system, so trains from the post-60s system are unable to run on these lines. |
