ABOUT

Pinewood is a Vulpix who lives in Norbax Forest, Friendship City. She is quite brash and outgoing, and is typically one of the more serious people in the group.

Like her mother, she regularly drinks alcohol.

BACKSTORY

Pinewood grew up with negligent parents. Her mother is alcoholic and often goes missing. Her father is lazy and asks her to do everything for him. Pinewood would often be sent to Oakwood's (her cousin) household.

Pinewood is friends with Ball and Lit.

DEVELOPMENT

Pinewood was designed by CoJu in June 2019. She originally had no ears. In June 2022, when the character was rediscovered, the ears were made "optional" for a few months until eventually being mandatory like a normal Vulpix. Pinewood had a miniature feral form known as "Pinewood Jr." The relationship between Pinewood and Pinewood Jr. in 2019 is unknown. In summer 2022, Pinewood Jr. was made Pinewood's companion/pet for a while until the whole thing was eventually dropped.

Pinewood appeared in 953: Pinewood Isn't Getting Her Breakfast, a Summer 2022 9-Square comic that depicts her negligent father.

Pinewood's first appearance in 1659 was in 1659:3, being introduced with Oakwood in April 2023.

Pinewood appeared in G2:G2MAUNO:"I shouldn't have eaten pee for dinner" for a joke.
